Not to be used with
Do not use Trachitol if you are hypersensitive to lidocaine hydrochloride or other local anesthetic drugs of the amide type, to propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate or to any of the excipients.
Compound:
Active substances: The active substances in this medicine are lidocaine hydrochloride and propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate.
One lozenge contains 1 mg lidocaine hydrochloride and 1.8 mg propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate.
Excipients: magnesium stearate, potassium aluminum sulfate, peppermint oil and sorbitol.
Dosage
Adults and young adults aged 12 to 18:
Up to 8 lozenges per day, with a maximum of
1 tablet every 2 hours
Use in children
Children between 6 and 11 years old:
Up to 6 lozenges per day, with a maximum of
1 tablet every 2 hours.
The medicine should be administered under the supervision of an adult.
Children under 6 years old:
Trachitol is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
