Accu-Chek Aviva control solution 5ml

Control solution for the Accu-Chek Aviva meter for checking your blood glucose meter. Packed per 2 x 2.5ml liquid in a bottle. For use only with the Accu-Chek Aviva blood glucose meter.

Why and when do you use control solution?

Blood glucose meters wear out or remain in the cupboard for a long time. With the control solution you check whether the glucose meter and the test strips still function correctly together as a whole, this is due to the fixed amount of glucose in the control solution with which you check the measured values.

Use Accu-Chek Aviva Control Solution

First, unclip the end of the control solution bottle. Then place the meter on a flat surface, insert the test strip, and apply a drop of control solution to the front edge of the test strip. A result with a flashing “L” is displayed. Press the arrow buttons once to highlight Level 1 control test, or twice to highlight Level 2. Press the ON/OFF button to store the selected level in the meter. The control result and “OK” alternate on the display if the result is within range.
